About Me

Scene Queen's real name is Hannah Rose Collins. She grew up in upstate New York, had lived in Alabama, Ohio, and now currently lives in Los Angeles, California. She had been a fan of emo and scene music from a very early age, and wanted to continue that passion by working administratively in music, and wanted to work at Hopeless Records, applying 3 times, but was denied. She left the scene movement after feeling that it was quite mysoginistic and decided to pursue her own music.

My Music

Scene Queen's style is known as "bimbocore", a term she coined. Bimbocore is a metal subgenre that focuses on feminist themes. Much of her music and style presents as hyperfeminine, embracing that side and creating a dichotomy with the metal sounds of her music. This muscial style "blends the reclaimed hyperfeminine aesthetics and vocal distortions of genres like pop with metalcore-inspired breakdowns".
She originally went by the stage name ROSE, later changing her name to the current Scene Queen. She self-released her first single "Are You Tired Yet?" in 2020, and signed with Hopeless Records, the studio she had previously wanted to work with, in 2021. The following year, she released her debut EP, aptly titled "Bimbocore". She has gone on to release many more singles, 2 more EPs, and one full album.
